Maccabee Freeze Tag

This game is the most fun with 6 players or more.

One player is King Antiochus and the other is Judah.  The rest of the players are Maccabees.

King Antiochus is “it”.  When he/she tags a Maccabee, that player has to freeze.

Judah can unfreeze any frozen Maccabees by tagging them.

After five minutes, play stops, and roles are exchanged.

Variation:

When a player is tagged by King Antiochus, he/she must freeze in a Hanukkah themed pose (ex. Maccabee, dreidl, candle…) until unfrozen by Judah.
